Homy
Your Mac's files, finally beautiful.

Homy is a beautiful file browser for the Mac that shows your stuff instead of a list of filenames. Images, videos, music, documents, archives and apps each get their own shelf with big, clear thumbnails, and a Home dashboard shows totals for every category alongside your recent files. Finding things is as simple as typing what you mean: searches like "pdfs from last week over 5 MB" or "videos from my iPhone in August" become visible filter chips for type, date, size and source. Homy also reads the text inside your screenshots and photos using Apple's Vision framework, so you can search for a Wi-Fi password or tracking number and copy the text out. It remembers where every download came from, such as Gmail, Google Drive, ChatGPT, Slack or WhatsApp, finds exact duplicates and look-alike photos, and points out old installers, forgotten downloads, big old videos and unused apps to clear, always moving files to the Trash rather than deleting them. Everything stays on your Mac.
Key Features:
- Visual Library: big thumbnails and dedicated shelves for images, videos, music, documents, archives and apps
- Natural-Language Search: type what you mean and see it turned into type, date, size and source filters
- Text in Images: search and copy the words inside screenshots and photos, processed on-device
- Downloaded From: find files by where they came from, like Gmail, Google Drive, ChatGPT or Slack
- Duplicates and Clean Up: remove duplicates, look-alikes, old installers and forgotten downloads safely to the Trash
Homy turns Finder's file lists into a visual, searchable home for everything on your Mac, for a one-time early-bird price of $9 (normally $29).
