Rollcage
AI agents break things. Rollcage puts them back.

Rollcage is a macOS menu bar app that protects your projects from AI coding agents like Claude Code, Codex CLI and Cursor. It snapshots your project when an agent starts and every 15 minutes after, using APFS clones that take under a second and little extra space. Session undo reports every file an agent deleted, edited or created and every command it ran, and one click restores the session while keeping your later edits. A mass-delete alarm warns when many files disappear quickly, and Guard blocks access to secret files, destructive commands and commits that contain keys or .env files, pausing risky actions like pushes to main for your approval. A network guard blocks paste and tunnel sites, and extras include agent alerts, Claude and Codex limit tracking, a secrets leak scan, token and cost tracking and a free MCP server.
Key Features:
- Automatic Snapshots: instant APFS clones of your project
- Session Undo: see and reverse everything an agent did
- Mass-Delete Alarm: alerts when files vanish quickly
- Guard: blocks secrets access and destructive commands
- Network Guard and Alerts: limit sites and track usage
Rollcage is a safety net for coding with AI agents, priced at $10 once per Mac with all future updates.
