Afterword

Afterword is a meeting notes app for Mac that writes your notes for you without an account or a bot joining the call. It starts recording automatically when a Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams call begins and transcribes everything on your Mac, so audio and text never leave the machine. Each call is saved as a Markdown file with a summary, decisions, action items and the full transcript, in a folder you choose. It lives in the menu bar with a visible recording indicator and plays a calm one-minute sound when the call ends. A speech-tuned mode removes ums and repeats and learns custom names and words, it can translate between your language and theirs during the call, and it can rewrite broken English into clear sentences while keeping the word-for-word transcript.
