Murmur

Murmur is a private AI dictation app for Mac. Hold the right Command key anywhere and speak, and polished text appears in any app with a text field, from Mail and Slack to ChatGPT, Xcode and Terminal. Speech recognition and AI run entirely on your Mac, even in Airplane Mode, so nothing you say leaves your device. Murmur removes fillers and applies corrections as you speak, adapts the tone to the app you're in, and lets you edit selected text by voice by holding Option and saying what to change. Snippets turn a phrase into saved text, Scratch That takes back the last dictation, and Paste Again sends text to the right window if it landed in the wrong one. Key Features: - Dictate Anywhere: hold right Command and polished text appears in any app - On-Device AI: speech and AI run offline on your Mac - Edit by Voice: select text, hold Option and say what to change - Tone Per App: the right style for Slack, Mail, Messages or Notes - Snippets and Scratch That: voice shortcuts and instant undo Murmur is fast, private dictation for Mac that costs a one-time $19 instead of a cloud subscription.
