Shape your sound.

MACEQ brings per-app EQ, volume and audio routing to your Mac. Each app gets its own 10-band equaliser from 31 Hz to 16 kHz with up to ±24 dB per band, plus its own volume from -48 dB to +6 dB. You can route each app to a different output, like speakers for music and headphones for calls, and routes, curves and levels are kept when apps relaunch. A single-knob compressor catches peaks, built-in and custom presets make tuning quick, and an all-audio mode applies one EQ, compressor and volume to everything. It needs no driver or kernel extension, adds only about 10 ms of latency and lives in the menu bar at around 0.5 MB. MACEQ Pro adds room correction that measures your speakers with a microphone and applies up to 10 filters. Key Features: - Per-App 10-Band EQ: tune each app separately - Per-App Volume: from -48 dB to +6 dB - Output Routing: send apps to different devices - Compressor and Presets: tame peaks and save curves - Pro Room Correction: measure and fix your speakers MACEQ gives you studio-style control over every app's sound, for $9 one-time or $19 for Pro on Apple silicon Macs.
