talkflow is a free, open-source voice dictation app and Wispr Flow alternative for Mac and PC. Hold the fn key, speak, and your words are typed wherever your cursor is, in any app, with no copying or pasting. Your words appear as you talk, and when you let go talkflow finishes the last words and fixes punctuation, turning casual speech into clean, punctuated text. Because most people talk much faster than they type, you can say the whole thought and get better prompts, emails and messages for the same effort. Speech recognition runs on your own processor using Whisper, so it works offline, audio is held in memory and never written to disk, and there's no sign-in or analytics. A dashboard in the menu bar shows your words, speed, streak and the typing time you've saved, and every line of code is public under the MIT License.
