Sequence Tool is a native Mac app for shaping podcasts and interviews from a transcript. Recordings are transcribed on your device, and you edit the story by hiding or restoring words, reordering sentences and clips and marking story beats, with every change reversible. It reviews filler words, silences, profanity and suggested retakes, and normalises audio for social, podcast or broadcast delivery. Variants let you create multiple cuts from one recording, such as a full episode, a clean version, chapters and social clips, each with its own edits and framing. Optional speaker detection and naming, multi-cam syncing with picture-in-picture and split-screen layouts, and shareable Sequence Packages are included, and you can export video or audio or hand off to Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve. Key Features: - Transcript Editing: cut and reorder video by editing text - On-Device Transcription: no media uploaded - Clean-Up Review: fillers, silences and retakes - Variants: full episodes, chapters and social clips from one recording - Multi-Cam and Export: sync cameras and hand off to Final Cut or Resolve Sequence Tool makes editing spoken video as easy as editing a document, with a seven-day free trial before a paid plan.
