Ribbon
Every window. One ribbon.

Ribbon is a scrolling window manager for Mac that places each window in its own full-height column on a strip that extends past the edges of your screen, so windows never overlap or shrink. Move along the strip with a three-finger swipe or Control-Option and the arrow keys, and cycle window widths between one third, one half and two thirds or toggle full width. A strip map in six visual styles shows every window, with Control-Option-1 to 9 to jump and clickable tiles. Dialogs, picture-in-picture and fixed-size windows float, with per-app rules, and you can drag to resize or reorder. Each display gets its own strip, windows are restored when you quit, focus-follows-mouse is optional, and Ribbon can be scripted with ribbon:// links, a command-line tool and Raycast.
Key Features:
- Scrolling Strip: every window in its own full-height column
- Swipe Navigation: three-finger swipe or arrow keys
- Width Presets: one third, half, two thirds or full
- Strip Map: six styles with jump shortcuts
- Scriptable: ribbon:// links, CLI and Raycast
Ribbon brings an elegant scrolling workflow to Mac windows, for $15 once with a 7-day free trial and use on up to 3 Macs.
