Buffer

Buffer is a small, privacy-focused clipboard manager for macOS that lives in your menu bar and keeps all data on your Mac. It automatically saves the text and images you copy and lets you find anything instantly with fuzzy search across your whole history. Built-in Vision OCR extracts text from images offline, and an image canvas lets you pinch to zoom and pan. You can organise clips with colour-coded tags filterable with #, star bookmarks to protect items from automatic removal, pin favourites and select several items to paste at once. Snippets can be edited inline with auto-save, history can be capped at 200, 1,000 or unlimited items with duplicate filtering, and a shortcut sheet and configurable global hotkey keep everything keyboard friendly.
