DisplayPilot
Plug in. Every display lands where you left it.

DisplayPilot is a menu bar app for macOS that remembers how your displays are arranged at home, at the office and on the road, and puts everything back the moment you plug in. Docks, KVM switches and sleep/wake cycles often scramble the arrangement macOS remembers, so DisplayPilot saves each setup as a profile, including positions, resolutions, refresh rates and the primary display. When that set of displays reconnects, it recognizes the setup and restores it, automatically with Pro or in one click. After every restore it reads the result back and reports anything macOS didn't apply, and it can even tell two identical monitors apart by where they sit in your saved arrangement. No account or subscription is needed.
Key Features:
- Display Profiles: save arrangements for home, office, travel and any other desk you use
- Auto-Restore: recognizes a connected setup and puts it back automatically with Pro
- Full Setup Memory: positions, resolutions, refresh rates and the primary display
- Verified Restores: checks each setting afterwards and reports anything macOS didn't apply
- Identical Monitor Matching: tells same-model monitors apart by their saved position
DisplayPilot ends the daily display-rearranging routine, free for one setup with a one-time $9.99 Pro upgrade for unlimited profiles and auto-restore.
