Up A Notch

Know what needs your response.

Up A Notch screenshot
Up A Notch shows your selected commitments in a single, low-noise view near your MacBook's notch so you always know what needs your response. With opt-in local Claude Code activity, it shows recent work, pending requests and completed turns, and lets you Allow or Deny Claude Code requests right from the notch or resume sessions in your terminal. It also detects Codex, Copilot CLI, Cursor, Gemini CLI, Aider and Ollama as running processes. Selected Google Calendar events appear with a join action, and pre-call alerts warn you when agents are waiting on your input. Local todos and a focus timer are built in, along with optional GitHub CLI and MCP health signals. A closed-notch summary shows one number per side, a recording mode shows only a red dot while OBS, Screen Studio, Loom or Riverside runs, and one button removes every change it makes. Key Features: - Agent Activity: Claude Code requests, turns and sessions in the notch - Allow or Deny: approve Claude Code requests without switching apps - Calendar and Pre-Call Alerts: join meetings and see waiting agents - Todos and Focus Timer: local tasks right by the notch - Recording Mode and Clean Removal: privacy while streaming, one-click uninstall Up A Notch keeps your agents, meetings and todos in one calm notch view, currently free in an invite-only private beta.
