Ribbon for Mac

Ribbon is a scrolling window manager for macOS that places your windows side by side on a strip wider than the screen, so opening new apps never shrinks the windows you already have. You scroll to reach them, sliding the strip with Option-scroll or a three-finger swipe. A clickable strip bar shows an icon for each column, with click-to-jump and drag-to-reorder, and you can stack windows or fold columns into tabs. Every display and every Space gets its own strip, layouts can be saved and restored at login, and dialogs and fixed-size windows float automatically along with any apps you choose. An optional focus border and dimming highlight the active window, a setup checker flags conflicting macOS settings and window managers, and a ribbon:// URL scheme and command-line tool support automation. Key Features: - Endless Strip: windows side by side, never shrunk - Strip Bar: click to jump and drag to reorder columns - Stacks and Tabs: group windows within a column - Per-Display Strips and Saved Layouts: restore setups at login - Automation: ribbon:// links and a command-line tool Ribbon gives your Mac a smooth scrolling window workflow, for a one-time price of $9.99 for one Apple silicon Mac.
