Tucklane

Tucklane is a small Mac utility that lives in the notch and opens when you hover over it, press Option-Space or click it. It shows artwork and playback controls for Spotify or Apple Music, and keeps your recent clipboard copies on your Mac. A file shelf lets you drop files on the notch to stash them, with files referenced rather than copied, and a scratchpad for notes saves automatically. A focus timer counts down right in the notch, and Tuck, an optional duckling mascot, reacts to your activity. On MacBooks with a notch it sits in the notch, and on other Macs it appears as a small pill at the top of the screen, with no account required. Key Features: - Music Controls: Spotify and Apple Music in the notch - Clipboard History: recent copies kept locally - File Shelf: drop files on the notch to stash them - Notes and Focus Timer: quick scratchpad and countdowns - Tuck the Duckling: an optional reactive mascot Tucklane makes your Mac's notch handy and charming, free during beta and then a one-time $9.79 at launch.
